New 12,800-square-meter production center will support rising demand from AI server and advanced semiconductor markets while creating capacity for future growth

Seoul, Korea – Koh Young Technology, the industry leader in True3D™ measurement-based inspection solutions, announced plans to expand its Yeoju production complex in Gyeonggi Province, Korea, with the construction of a second production center. The strategic investment will double production capacity to meet rapidly growing global demand for advanced inspection solutions while establishing additional manufacturing infrastructure for the company’s future growth.

The new production center will encompass approximately 12,800 square meters, matching the size of Koh Young’s existing Yeoju facility. Completion is targeted for August 2027. Once operational, the expanded complex will strengthen Koh Young’s production and supply capabilities across its businesses.

The investment comes amid strong demand for Koh Young’s 3D precision measurement and inspection solutions. Increasing investment in artificial intelligence data centers is accelerating demand for AI servers and advanced semiconductors, creating new requirements throughout the electronics and semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. This market momentum has contributed to Koh Young’s recent record quarterly sales and continues to drive demand for its inspection technologies.

The second Yeoju production center will provide the additional capacity needed to support this demand while strengthening Koh Young’s ability to serve customers worldwide. In addition to its core 3D inspection portfolio, the facility will establish production capabilities for emerging technologies, including industrial X-ray inspection equipment, as Koh Young continues to broaden its inspection technology portfolio.

The expansion also provides additional production infrastructure for Koh Young’s growing medical technology business. The company is preparing for increased global adoption of its medical robotics technologies while continuing to diversify its medical portfolio, including surgical navigation systems.
